Fiddle Leaf Fig

With its oversized, wavy-edged leaves, the fiddle leaf fig turns any bright room into a showpiece. It grows into a tall indoor tree over time. It likes routine: give it a bright spot, water it consistently and try not to move it around, and it will reward you with big new leaves.

Fiddle Leaf Fig care at a glance

• Light: Bright light near a window is essential. A few hours of gentle morning sun is ideal.
• Water: Water when the top 2 inches of soil are dry, then let excess drain away.
• Routine: Avoid moving it and keep it away from drafts and heaters; sudden changes can cause leaf drop.
• Leaves: Dust the leaves regularly and rotate the pot a quarter turn each month for even growth.
